The River Cup will be played at PPL Park and this is your opportunity to try out for the SoB FC team. Last years tryouts were VERY competitive and this year will prove to be no different. We've changed things up slightly, added a few twists and surprises, and made it an even better lead up to the big game. The date and details of of this year's event will be announced on Friday, June 13th, 2014.
Tryout Details
Here are the details for the 2014 SoB FC tryouts...
- All tryouts will be held at YSC Sports in Wayne, PA on Thursday, 6/19 (7-10pm), Monday, 6/23 (7-10pm) and Thursday, 6/26 (7-10pm). Potential players MUST attend 2 of 3 tryout dates.
- SoB FC will be fielding a team of twenty-two (22) players.
- ALL players will be graded by an independent, impartial panel of qualified talent evaluators.
- ALL players will be selected based on the grading and recommendations of the talent evaluators.
- Trialists selected to the 2014 SoB FC team will be required to attend all practices as they are scheduled and participate in the YSC Tuesday Night Fall League. League play starts July 1st.
- Trialists selected to the 2014 SoB FC team will receive the official 2014 SoB FC Kit.
- Sign-ups for try-outs will end on June 22nd.
Player Eligibility
In order to be an eligible player, you must:
- be a current member of Sons of Ben as of the date of this email.
- pay the $30 Tryout Registration Fee Online (No walkups will be accepted)
- be over 18 years old or over as of the date of this email.
- attend a minimum of two (2) of the three (3) scheduled tryout dates.
- be able to commit to the league and schedule event
- be able to play in the 2014 River Cup game (Date will be announced this Friday)
- sign the liability waiver for Sons of Ben, Philadelphia Union, and YSC Sports.
- * sign a statement that you are aware of and agree to these terms.
Tryout Dates
ALL tryouts will be at YSC Sports in Wayne, PA. The dates for the tryouts are:
- Thursday, June 19th: 7pm - 10pm
- Monday, June 23rd: 7pm - 10pm
- Thursday, June 26th: 7pm - 10pm
